Because you guys loved the last one of these I did, I thought you deserved another. I had way too much fun picking the books last time—and honestly, narrowing this new list down to just five was torture. But here we are: five more romances with sex scenes that are hot, heartfelt, and unforgettable.

The Books I Picked And Why

Wild At Heart

by K.A. Tucker

Woman in a black hat gazes at snowy mountains and a flying plane. Red autumn trees line the road. Text: Wild at Heart, K.A. Tucker.

Why this book?

Jonah and Calla’s Alaskan romance from The Simple Wild continues in this sequel, and wow, does K.A. Tucker turn up the heat. Their chemistry is electric, but what really makes the sex scenes shine is the raw emotion behind them—love tangled with frustration, longing, and the challenges of their rugged life.

The cabin scene where they reunite after a fight is pure fire: all tension, release, and that perfect blend of rough and tender. It’s the kind of scene that stays with you long after the last page.

Neon Gods

by Katee Robert

Neon Gods book cover: purple-lit ornate chair on dark background, bold white text "NEON GODS," quote "UNSPEAKABLY HOT," author Katee Robert.

Why this book?

A modern, erotic twist on the Hades and Persephone myth, Neon Gods takes dark romance to delicious heights. Hades is broody, commanding, and surprisingly gentle when Persephone needs it—and their chemistry is off the charts.

The balcony scene? Utterly decadent. It’s power-play, trust, and heat all rolled into one, with writing that makes you forget you’re reading and feel like you’re there.

Before We Were Strangers

by Renée Carlino

String lights against a twilight sky with the book title "Before We Were Strangers" by Renée Carlino in bold pink letters.

Why this book?

This second-chance romance between former college lovers Matt and Grace is emotional from the beginning. But when they finally reconnect after fifteen years, the slow build makes their first intimate scene absolutely explode with passion.

It’s tender, desperate, and nostalgic all at once—the kind of sex scene where you feel the weight of every missed year between them.

The Stopover

by T.L. Swan

Man in pinstripe suit with yellow tie on black background. Text reads: "The Stopover," "The Miles High Club," "TL Swan." Holding phone.

Why this book?

A chance meeting on a flight leads to a one-night stand so sizzling it leaves both characters shaken. Jameson Miles is bossy, intense, and just the right amount of wicked, while Emily is sassy enough to match him beat for beat.

The hotel room scene is everything a first encounter should be: unexpected, passionate, and just risky enough to feel dangerous—in the best way.

Act Your Age, Eve Brown

by Talia Hibbert

Cover of "Act Your Age, Eve Brown" by Talia Hibbert. A couple embraces on a blue background with music notes. Bold title text in pink and white.

Why this book?

Eve is chaotic and charming, Jacob is grumpy and particular—naturally, sparks fly. Their romance is equal parts sweet and scorching, with a playful undercurrent that makes the sex scenes especially satisfying.

The kitchen scene? Fun, messy, and hotter than it has any right to be. Talia Hibbert nails the balance between humor and heat, and it’s just… chef’s kiss.

If You Liked These…

Then you’ll love the heat, passion, and emotional intensity in my own books: The Techboys Series. They’re packed with unforgettable romance, sizzling tension, and the kind of chemistry you can’t fake.
