I am going to hold your hand when I tell you that we’ve at least a year to wait for Off Campus Season 2 to hit streaming. To tide us over to DeanAllie's season, here are some other shows just like Off Campus; college romance shows with similar blends of young adult chaos, found family and sporting drama.
My Life with the Walter Boys
Love Triangle | Bad Boy with a Heart of Gold

After a dramatic end to season two, My Life with the Walter Boys is back for a third helping of family life and teenage angst. The showrunners have said that this series focuses on the characters' self-development, as well as their romantic exploits. After his heartbreak, Alex pours himself into the Hartford Rodeo circuit, distancing himself from Silver Falls, while Cole applies his mechanical mind to car repairs after falling in with a drag racer. Jackie’s past New York life provides an additional romantic interest – her uncle's sophisticated intern, Elliot.
How to Watch: catch the new season on Netflix from August 6th 2026
Mint
Opposites Attract | Outsider Romance

Mint is Off Campus's dark, distant cousin, but it does follow an enemies-to-lovers narrative between two people orbiting separate and opposing worlds. Shannon romanticises her parents' love story and wants to be swept off her feet. However, she’s the daughter of a feared mafioso, and her eye is caught by the son of a rival family. This gritty crime drama meets Romeo and Juliet is from Charlotte Regan, the Scottish filmmaker behind Scrapper (well worth a watch!). Expect gorgeous shots of Grangemouth and the hypnotic blend of realism, fantasy and intuitive sensitivity that made Regan's debut film stand out.Â

One Tree Hill
2000s Nostalgia | Sports Romance

This 2000s flashback has a healthy dose of drama and college/high school romance. Two half-brothers, Lucas and Nathan Scott, grow up in a small town in North Carlina. Lucas has grown up with his mother and uncle and is socially isolated. However, when he joins the varsity basketball team, he is thrust into his brother’s world. The series follows Lucas and Nathan through high school, including mutual love interests and expanding friendship groups.

The Love Hypothesis
He Falls First | Fake Dating

The Love Hypothesis is another romance book adaptation for the big screen. Olive (Lili Reinhart), a Stanford Biology PhD candidate, impulsively kisses a total stranger to show that she’s over her ex. Unfortunately, it turns out she's just snogged Dr Adam Calrsen (Tom Bateman), a brilliant and pretty strict professor. Surprisingly, he agrees to keep up the pretence of a relationship, hoping it will help to secure research funding. Predictably, real feelings start to blossom
How to watch: in cinemas from September 23rd 2026
The Sex Lives of College Girls
Discovering Intimacy | Found Family

A scholar, a soccer star, a comedy writer and a legacy student walk into a bar… I mean a college house share. Like Off Campus's Frat Bridgerton, the series explores the friendships forged between these unlikely girlfriends as they navigate the challenges college life and love have to throw at them. Featuring the inimitable Renee Rapp, of course!

Sex Education
He Falls First | Golden Retriever Boys

Otis Milburn – the son of a sex therapist – accidentally helps the school bully with his performance anxiety. This leads Otis to become his pears' underground sex therapist with the help of his tear-away crush, Maeve. Like Off Campus, this show has really sensitive portrayals of intimacy, no proper villains (although not quite Briar U's profligacy of golden retriever boys) and a strong focus on friendship.

Gossip Girl
Blogger-as-Plot-Device | 2010s Nostalgia

Narrated by the omniscient blogger, this drama follows the lives and loves of privileged teens living in Manhattan. Featuring an all-star cast (including Penn Badgley as an aspiring working-class writer and Blake Lively as a socialite trying to leave her past life as a party girl behind), this show is definitely worth a rewatch!

P.S. If you love a sports romance, may I recommend the fifth installment of my Techboys series, The Game? Professional tennis player Anna Talanova's boss sets her up with Adam Miller (a struggling techpreneur) as an emergency plus one following her breakup. Like Hannah and Garrett, fake dating has benefits for both parties; journalists stop asking Anna intrusive questions, while positive press around their relationship is a marketing boon for Adam's company. And, like Hannah and Garrett, real feelings quickly start to develop...
