Get ready for some drama on the ice. Adriana Russo is figure skating royalty, the daughter of gold medalists and sister to a talent just as bright. But with her family’s ice rink on the brink of financial ruin, her dreams of a Junior World Championship are at risk.
To save the rink, Adriana teams up with her new partner, Brayden, and they decide to fake a relationship to drum up publicity and sponsorships. Things get messy fast when Adriana starts falling for Brayden just as her first crush and former partner, Freddie, skates back into her life.

Bridgerton Season 4
Netflix, 29th January 2026
The Ton is buzzing once again! This season pivots to the second-oldest brother, Benedict Bridgerton, adapting Julia Quinn’s An Offer from a Gentleman. This is a true Cinderella story: Benedict meets a mysterious "Lady in Silver" at a masquerade ball and spends the season searching for her, unaware that she is Sophie Baek, a maid in a local household.
Release Note: Part 2 is scheduled to follow on February 26 (why do Netflix do this to us!!)
Staring: Luke Thompson returns as Benedict, joined by Yerin Ha as Sophie Baek. Fans will also be happy to see Simone Ashley and Jonathan Bailey reprising their roles as the Viscount and Viscountess.
Remain by Nicholas Sparks & M. Night Shyamalan
Cinema, 23rd October 2026
Based on the emotional story of a New York architect seeking a fresh start, Remain follows Tate Donovan as he heads to Cape Cod to design a home for his best friend. After a stint in a psychiatric facility for depression following the loss of his sister, Tate is looking for stability. He finds more than he bargained for in Wren, a local woman who isn't quite who she seems. This one looks like a beautiful, high-stakes tearjerker.
Starring: Jake Gyllenhaal and Phoebe Dynevor lead a powerhouse cast including Ashley Walters and Julie Hagerty.
What's on the Horizon?
The Five-Star Weekend by Elin Hilderbrand
Hollis Shaw’s life is food-blogger perfection until a tragic car accident takes her husband. In an attempt to heal and reconnect, she hosts a "Five-Star Weekend" in Nantucket, inviting one best friend from every phase of her life. Naturally, bringing together the past and present is more like a pressure cooker than a vacation, especially when her first love, Jack, makes a surprise appearance.
The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood
Ali Hazelwood’s STEM-romance sensation is officially becoming a movie at Amazon MGM Studios. Starring Lili Reinhart as Olive Smith and Tom Bateman as Adam Carlsen, the film wrapped production recently. While we don't have a specific day yet, Lili herself teased on Instagram that we will see them "in 2026."
Off-Campus: The Deal by Elle Kennedy
Amazon is bringing Briar University to life. Production on The Deal began last year, and Amazon has confirmed a 2026 release window. This series will follow the "fake dating for a grade" romance between Hannah Wells and hockey star Garrett Graham.
Every Summer After (Every Year After) by Carley Fortune
The TV adaptation of Carley Fortune’s Every Summer After has been retitled Every Year After for Prime Video. Starring Sadie Soverall and Matt Cornett as Percy and Sam, the series is currently in production. We are crossing our fingers for a summer 2026 release to match the vibes of the book!
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
The latest iteration of Jane Austen’s classic is a six-part limited series written by Dolly Alderton. With Emma Corrin as Elizabeth Bennet and Jack Lowden as Mr. Darcy, filming is reportedly complete. We expect this to be a major late-year release for Netflix.
In a Holidaze by Christina Lauren
The Christina Lauren holiday time-loop favorite is being adapted for Netflix with a script by Tiffany Paulsen. Starring Maddie Ziegler and Rob Lowe, filming is starting this month, which puts it on track for a perfect December 2026 release.
This year is shaping up to be a treat for book lovers. Mark your calendars, gather your reading group, and keep these titles close for the evenings when you want something familiar yet unexpectedly fresh. Some adaptations capture the heart of the book, others wander off in new directions, and a few surprise you entirely. That unpredictability is part of the fun.
I’ll be there with popcorn at the ready, probably analysing the costumes more than necessary. See you at the premiere.
