I was recently interviewed by Tammy who runs an instagram account called @butfirstletsread, as part of her “FAST FACTS” series.
Here are the ten facts I gave Tammy: 1. I am married and have two teenage children 2. My husband is a techy 3. I'm a runner, a very slow and ploddy runner. 4. I met my husband in the kitchen at a party when he was sticking his head under a cold water tap to cool down. 5. I started my working life in advertising. 6. But nowadays I work with technology startups, and my first romance series revolves around the lives of three guys and three girls working in the New York tech scene. 7. I have two cats, Ollie and Daisy. After ten years of living in our current house, Ollie has only just realised he can come in through the front door (not sure what he was thinking when he watched humans go into that strange gap in the front of the house) 8. The first romance novel I read was Fifteen by Beverley Cleary, and I still love that novel today 9. I used to live around the corner from Colin Firth in London (and if that isn't enough to turn you into a romance author I don't know what is) 10. I once won a fancy dress competition and I was so drunk that when I went up on stage to collect the prize, I charged straight across and fell off the other side.
